Weight and standing behaviour decide the bag. Heavier retail loads take a square bottom or twisted handle bag in the 90–120 gsm range; light counter items take a V-bottom bag at 40–90 gsm. If the bag must stand open for packing speed — supermarket checkouts, delivery prep lines — choose grocery (SOS) or square bottom. If the customer carries it visibly, handle bags carry the brand: flat handles for utility, twisted handles for retail presentation. Window bags show the product; plain kraft protects it.
